Ingredients

  • hazelnuts or almonds 1/2 cup
  • sesame seeds 3 tbsp
  • coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • dried thyme 1 tsp
  • sea salt 1/2 tsp
  • extra virgin olive oil 1/4 cup
  • baladi or pita bread to serve

Method

  1. 1 Toast nuts and seeds separately until fragrant.
  2. 2 Grind coriander and cumin, then pulse everything to a coarse crumble.
  3. 3 Serve duqqa in a bowl with olive oil alongside; dip torn bread first in oil, then in the spice mix.
